Rhonda Braudis

Rhonda Braudis serves as the 911 Communications Director for the Marshall County Communications Center in Marshalltown, Iowa. She began her career in 911 Emergency Services in 2002 as a call taker and has since dedicated more than two decades to advancing public safety communications.

Rhonda earned her Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) designation in 2009 and her Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) certification in 2019 through the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Institute. In 2009, she also became an Adjunct Instructor for APCO, sharing her experience and passion for leadership and training with others in the field. In addition, she began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor in 2012 for Jacksonville State University in Alabama.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University. Rhonda’s career reflects her deep commitment to professional growth, education, and the continued development of those who serve on the front lines of public safety communications.
